Internal Funding Program Metrics

研究 Communications, Development & 学习 (RCDL) tracks data on the Office of 研究 and Economic Development's internal faculty development funding programs. Metrics include return on investment (ROI), award distribution by department, awardee demographics, impact (productivity outcomes), and competitiveness (funding rates). Data from 研究 development practitioners suggests that multi-year follow up at the three-year mark and beyond is necessary to track return on investment for internal funding programs (Partlow 2018*).

Our own data is consistent with this finding, and demonstrates that returns only continue 随时间成长.

The 研究 and 学术发展 格兰特 and 支持艺术的种子基金 & 人文学科 began in fiscal year 2014. The 教师 生产力 格兰特 began in fiscal 2015年. Administration of the 教师 Development Council 格兰特 was transferred 到RCDL. The 教师 Development Council Fellows program was piloted in 2019. Program data are collected annually at the close of the award cycle.
